While I remember...

...and cause I've nowhere to write it just now, books I want to read at the moment, Thank you for the days by Mark Radcliffe, The Music Room by one of the Fiennessesss...and Mark Steel's 'What's going on?' though probably only because it's on a buy one get one half price. Can't find another with a sticker though...

I can see Ewe...

A beautiful drive on the A835 this morning out to Kinlochewe. Once the haar had lifted at Contin it was a glorious morning for a fact finding trip. Is Wester Ross the most beautiful part of the country? Must be a contender.

A grand day out...

Small daughter on a donkey at Cleethorpes. You could say it was heavily laden with Christian symbolism: the beast of burden carrying the chosen one, the fish suppers symbolising the feeding of the five thousand, souls to be saved from the evils of gambling away their savings on the penny falls, candy floss as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of the soul...or you could get a grip and have a 99.

Move along sunshine...

Liking this idea a great deal. To the casual, untrained observer this looks simply like a double glazing sales unit.

I'm certain it is, in fact, a marvellous new portable conservatory allowing the user to, in a Crowded House style 'take the weather with you'.

Genius. And solar powered too.
